~Wanna Play Dress up?~

CHRISTA, TASYA, JESS, MARLA, TONIA, & BARBI... THIS IS ALL ABOUT YOU!!! :)

Nobody has said whether or not they have found a dress or are really even looking yet so let me remind you what the requirements are for your bridesmaid dresses...

~Something you love and are willing to wear again. (Bonus points if it makes you feel like a rockstar!)
~Black if preferred but I have seen some pretty amazing prints lately!
~Shiny fabric & spandex aren't flattering on many people, if you MUST have it we can chat... though I don't see any of you falling in love with an outfit belonging on that Gypsy wedding show! ROFL
~Mid thigh to tea length
~Any neckline/sleeves is fine. I am on the hunt for matching shrugs in case its chilly.

Here are a few pieces of inspiration for my ladies:

Ya know those printed ones I was talking about?!? Well, I found this picture shortly after Kyle proposed and must admit that it has been something I can't get out of my head...
Yes, they are brown, aaaand a bit on the casual side but HOLY MOLY do they make my heart pitter patter! And since the guys will be sporting jeans (more on that later!) it just kinda' hit home with the feel that we are looking for!

Any opinions or questions???

As for shoes I am dying to do something special here and am pretty sure we will be wearing boots... of some sort. Since picking up my wedding dress I have been a bit torn on this subject BUT am feeling like there really is time to work on this later..  :)

132 days left! Yay!

  1. I adore all of your ideas sweetie! I just think if we do a print we should all wear the same dress otherwise it will be too overwhelming to the eye. Plus I think you might be dissapointed if the colors dont mesh well. The black dress idea is a great one as it makes it simple - If you go this route I would just like to understand the style you desire better. You know me (city girl) and I want to make sure what I pick is appropriate. :) xoxo

    1. I agree with you Sis, and I am very hooked on the all black. Its so much easier to find than matching print dresses. As for the style, I'm not sure there is an easy way to describe it other than something simple with lace accents, or a sheer overlay. I will look for more ideas and post them. Eh hem, even if I have to park outside Starbucks just to do a search! (This half-assed internet is driving me crazy! 3 more days until we are on the highspeed ride again! ROFL)And BTW City Girl... I have never seen you botch an outfit, there is no way you could go wrong! Just ask John, he'd agree with me! Love you guys!
